Originally conceived as an unarmed fast bomber, the “Mossie” in fact became one of the most versatile British aircraft of WWII, seeing service in bomber, fighter-bomber, night fighter, maritime strike and photo reconnaissance roles. (It’s said the Germans envied this plane so highly they awarded two victories for shooting one down!).

Our DeHavilland Mosquito NFII/FBVI is a spectacularly detailed model with a full interior and removable panels, but be warned it is probably not suitable for beginners.
