The uses for a nightsight are numerous: on board to spot unlit buoys or see down a canal tunnel; at home to watch nocturnal wild life or look for intruders. But there has always been the risk of "burn out" damage when accidentally exposed to daylight, or even a car headlamp. The latest digital technology solves this problem and also significantly reduces the image "graininess" that used to affect older units. Another major advantage of this digital unit is direct video output, so you can watch what's happening on a TV screen.

It has five time optical (most rival units use inferior digital) magnification through a high quality 42mm object lens. On starry or moonlit nights it intensifies the ambient light, whilst in complete darkness there are two powers of infra-red "torch" - invisible to us, but visible to and displayed by the nighsight.

It is powered either by six AA batteries (see below) or direct from 12volts (lead supplied) when available. Length 6.5", width 4.5".
