These long range Helios observation binoculars are superbly made, and designed with angled eyepieces such that they are equally suitable and easy to use for terrestrial or astronomical viewing.

They offer 25 x magnification through light-sucking 100mm triplet objective lenses, with oversize BAK-4 prisms and a broadband multi-coated optical system.

The casing is all-metal and waterproof for outdoor use, mounted on a substantial hardwood tripod and stored in a foam-lined case. Without doubt the most powerful and best quality high-power binoculars we have ever seen, “Group Test Winner” in BBC Sky at Night magazine. Binoculars measure 22x8½”, tripod height adjustable 27-53”, total weight approx 45-lb.

Also available is our Helios 7x50 finderscope (ref:91609). For some types of observation you may find it easier to use the high-quality but lower-powered and wider field-of-view scope to align the main instrument.
