Nauticalia

A turquoise sea, a cloudless sky, gently chugging along the coast in a 1950s Riva runabout, seeing and being seen. That's the image conveyed by these two genuine Steiff teddy bears, sitting in an elegant speedboat made from varnished lime wood with a leather-lined foot well. He is a 4" jointed brown bear, sporting a captain's cap; she is 3", pink, jointed and wearing a straw hat with a hand sewn scarf. Boat is 13" long and 4" wide.
