Nauticalia

Designed by the Victorians, the "step chair" allowed visitors to the great public libraries to reach the book of their choice and then sit to read it - without the need for two pieces of equipment (or putting feet on chair seats). Our reproduction is made from solid mahogany, and converts quickly and easily from a 33" step to a comfortable round-backed chair. Also useful in the kitchen.
