Extended, the top rung reaches a height of up to 12ft; telescoped down it measures just 3' tall and 18" wide. It will store flat in a car boot, or upright in the corner of a shed or an under-stairs cupboard.
It's easy to manoeuvre, because you can take it to where you want it in its telescoped state, then extend it. And nobody will "borrow it" when you're not at the boatyard for example, because unlike other ladders you can take it home, every time. The side tubes and steps are made from top-grade corrosion-resistant aluminium, with polymer locking mechanisms, for a lifetime of service.
