Professional 4-day Forecasts by Radio Signal. Unlike most "weather stations" this is in fact a weather forecast RECEIVER; it picks up and displays the signals broadcast (fee-free) by Swiss company Meteotest, suppliers of professional quality meteorological data to public authorities and companies for over 25 years.

The detailed forecasts - including wind direction and speed, probability of precipitation, temperature, extreme weather and pollution warnings, and sunrise/sunset times - are available for 252 cities and 90 regions, covering most of Europe. "Central" regions such as England, Germany and France get four-day predictions whilst more "remote" areas such as Scotland and Atlantic Portugal get two-day versions.

We really rate this highly: it's well thought-out, simple to use - we got it to display a London forecast without consulting the manual - and even looks good (serious without being utilitarian).

It uses four AA batteries (see ref 93195 below) and can be freestanding or wall-mounted. Measures 10 x 6½".
