Battle of Britain Models That Really Fly
was £24.99 NOW £17.99
Just like the ones you built as a child, these are traditional stick and tissue model kits although, these days, precise laser-cut parts save you the tedious job of cutting out by hand. With the rubber band motor, they have excellent flying qualities (if you dare!), and more experienced modellers will find they can be adapted to take an electric motor.
We offer two Battle of Britain classics the Supermarine Spitfire, in 111 Sqn night fighter livery as flown from RAF Debden in 1941, and a Hawker Hurricane in the distinctive red paintwork of 527 Calibration Sqn which was used to help calibrate radar systems.
Kits include laser-cut balsa components, tissue covering, propeller, plastic canopy and prop spinner, rubber motor, decal sheet, full instructions and PVA glue.
