Historic Lighthouse - Cape Hatteras

Situated on the Outer Banks of North Carolina, Cape Hatteras lighthouse was built in 1870, and at 61m remains the tallest ever built in the USA. By the 1990s coastal erosion threatened this historic building's future, and it was moved in its entirety to a new site further inland - one of the greatest civil engineering feats ever undertaken. Our models are made from tin and handpainted with great consistency and attention to detail. Bases are decorated with tiny shells.
