This CD holder, from our naval-style wooden furniture range, holds up to 18 standard compact discs. The style is similar to the decor that would have been found in the Captain's cabins of 19th century sailing ships, which were designed as havens for concentration on the vital matters of navigation and meteorology. In contrast to the spartan, cramped conditions experienced by the crew, these cabins were fitted out in beautifully finished mahogany or camphor wood. Our range, inspired by the smaller pieces such as writing desks and chart cases, is made from solid (not plywood) polished sheesham wood with chunky brass corners and other fittings. The CD holder measures 8x6x6". There is an engraving plate for personalisation of up to four initials.
