Sales Administrator / Customer Service, Shepperton
Full Time 40hr week.  £25,000

 
Pleasantly located by the Thames at Shepperton Lock, we design and distribute nautical gifts and furnishings, souvenirs, and practical boating accessories to gift shops, museums, chandleries, and online retailers in the UK and around the world. We also sell direct to the public via our own mail order service.
 
We are now seeking to recruit a bright, customer-focused administrator to help us process orders, deal with enquiries, and keep all our customers happy, be they businesses or members of the public. The role includes:
- accurately processing and managing customer orders and returns
- liaising with our warehouse and freight carriers to ensure safe and prompt deliveries
- occasional visits to our warehouse in Wiltshire and participation on our stand at trade shows
- helping to identify new business opportunities.
 
The ideal candidate will:
- be well-spoken, with a friendly and confident telephone manner and good communication skills
- have previous experience in a customer-facing role
- take responsibility for seeing enquiries through to a positive conclusion
- be literate, numerate, and familiar with office software such as Excel and order processing and basic accounts systems
- be eager to learn and to get stuck into a variety of tasks
- hold a full UK driving licence
