Ladies' Reefer Jacket - The Real Thing

These women's reefer jackets are made in England (with fabric from Italy), and are very authentic with many features little changed since the 19th century. Even the buttons are Admiralty pattern, still individually engraved by a factory in Birmingham; and the fabric is a regenerated wool Melton (75% wool / 25% polyester) that, with its close thick short woven fibres, is as close to waterproof as natural fabrics get. However, they are cut a little longer than the originals (nicknamed 'bum freezers') as we think it unlikely you are actually going to wear them to climb a ship's rigging (and reef!). These timeless classics never really seem to go out of fashion, but are particularly 'in' at the moment. Double-breasted, three pockets (one inside), smooth lining. Dark navy, almost black. Dry clean only.
