Vulcan XJ824 now resides at the Imperial War Museum at Duxford Airfield. She entered Great Britain’s V-Bomber fleet in May 1961 – the backbone of our Cold War nuclear deterrent, before leter being adapted for marine reconnaissance. Hand carved from a piece of solid mahogany, this 1:70 scale model is finished with up to 30 coats of enamel, with every intricate detail applied by hand. Displayed on a smart desk stand in a ‘gear up’ position. Wingspan 17”
