***Limited Edition of 1765*** This beautiful model of HMS Victory, specially commissioned to celebrate the 250th anniversary of her launch at Chatham in 1765, is mounted on a oak mosaic plinth made from timber salvaged from HMS Victory herself. The hull is cast in resin, allowing intricate detail at a fraction of the cost of wooden built models. The sails and rigging are all individually hand tied and the wooden decking is laser cut to give it a really authentic appearance, with the cargo loading section left open to see through to the lower decks. A Limited Edition of 1765, its place in the series is pyrographed (burnt) into the oak plinth. Each comes with its own certificate of authenticity signed by Andrew Baines, Curator of HMS Victory. Length 15", height 12".

HMS Victory remains a commissioned warship - the oldest in the world – and today she serves as flagship to the First Sea Lord.
